SUMMARY:Local Disaster Relief Mission Trip
DESCRIPTION:Join Lake Hills for a week-long local mission trip this spring to help rebuild homes in Canton\, NC. \nIn 2021\, tropical storm Fred brought unprecedented flooding to Haywood County causing many families to lose their homes. We will be partnering with North Carolina Baptist Convention (Baptist on Mission) to help rebuild homes and get families back on their feet. \nChoose one or two\, or all six days to serve. Any level of experience is welcomed. Job site training available for most projects. There will be plenty of opportunity to serve no matter your experience. \nThis trip will be local\, working 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day in Canton. DESCRIPTION:Beginning February 21st\, every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30\, you are invited to join others in a Grief Share support group. \nGriefShare is a friendly\, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help.
