DESCRIPTION:Serve Week is an opportunity for us to join together as a church to love on and serve our community.  \nWe are working closely with a few of our local mission partners to organize a few different service opportunities throughout the area during the week of August 10-15. \nBelow is a list of the service opportunities we will be participating in. Read the descriptions and find one that will work for you. Sign up to let us know you are planning to attend and we will send you further information. \nHominy Valley Recreation Park\nProject: We will be painting and repairing dugouts along with a few other maintenance needs.\nDay & Time: Monday\, August 10 | 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM\nLocation:  25 Twin Lakes Dr\, Candler\, NC 28715\nNotes: This project is lead by the Student Ministry and geared mostly towards students and their families. \nEnka High School \nProject: We will be doing some maintenance and grounds work.\nDay & Time: Tuesday\, August 11 | 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM\nLocation: 475 Enka Lake Rd\, Candler\, NC 28715\nNotes: This project is lead by the Student Ministry and geared mostly towards students and their families. \nEnka Middle School \nProject: We will be pressure washing around the campus.\nDay & Time: Wednesday\, August 12 | 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM\nLocation: 390 Asbury Rd\, Candler\, NC 28715\nNotes: This project is lead by the Student Ministry and geared mostly towards students and their families. \nSwannanoa House Rebuild \nProject: We will be adopting a home in Swannanoa that is currently in the rebuild stage after the devastation of Helene.\nDay & Time: Tuesday\, August 11 – Thursday\, August 13 | 8:00 AM-4:00 PM\nLocation: Swannanoa – Specific address to be announced\nNotes: This will be a job that requires physical labor but there will be projects for various levels of ability. This project is limited to those 14 and up. \nEmmanuel Lutheran School \nProject: Basic landscaping such as weeding\, mulching and planting.\nDay & Time: Friday\, August 14 | 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM\nLocation: 51 Wilburn Place\, Asheville\, NC 28806 \nPisgah Elementary \nProject: General landscaping including brush clearing.\nDay & Time: Coming soon!!\nLocation: 1495 Pisgah Hwy\, Candler\, NC 28715 \nBlack Mountain Home for Children  \nProject: Coming soon!\nLocation: 80 Lake Eden Rd\, Black Mountain\, NC 28711 \n\nTo sign up\, chose which project you want to participate in and then you will be able to select the time and day you want to serve.  \n  \nRegister Now
