DESCRIPTION:Join us for “A Lake Hills Christmas” on Sunday\, December 14th \nThis year\, we are offering TWO different service times and lobby experiences. \nDoors open and lobby festivities begin for the first program at 2:30 p.m. | Service is 3:30-5:00 p.m.\n\nDoors open and lobby festivities begin for the second program at 6:00 p.m. | Service begins at 7:00-8:30 p.m.  \nWe cannot wait to celebrate the Christmas season with our church family and community. This classic Christmas event is a perfect time to get your family and friends together to worship and remember the reason for the season…our Savior\, Jesus. \nIn addition to our Christmas service\, an hour before the show\, our lobby will be filled with everything you would hope for at a Christmas party. Yummy sweets and treats\, savory bites\, coffee and hot coco\, family photo opps\, live music\, and more!! You don’t want to miss out on this part of the experience. \nTicket registration opens on Monday\, November 24th at 9:00 a.m.Tickets are required for entry. We have a  limited capacity available. SUMMARY:The Blessing Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:Join Lake Hills Church as we come together to support families in our community this holiday season. Every year when children go home for Christmas break\, the meals that they count on getting during school hours have to come from somewhere else. For many families\, finding the means to supply these extra meals for their children is a challenge\, and they often go without. We are working closely with social workers at Candler Middle School\, Candler Intermediate\, Pisgah Elementary\, Hominy Valley Elementary\, Candler Elementary\, and Sand Hill Elementary to identify 100 families most in need this holiday season. We have 130 families signed up to receive boxes this year. \n  \nHow to get involved\nStop by the lobby on one of the next two Sundays\, grab a food supply list and your boxes. You can choose to fill one box or two. Each of the families we serve will receive 2 boxes. Once you have filled your box or boxes\, return to the lobby by December 7th.  \nDecember 11th we will hold a distribution day where the families will be able to come by the church and get their set of boxes. We will need people to help serve during this day. Tickets will go on sale for this event Starting October 13th at 9:00 a.m. Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased once ticket sales open.  \nOur lovely table hostess will transform our lobby and Worship Center into a beautiful holiday wonderland. \nThis is an amazing opportunity\, not only for the women of our church to come together\, but for Lake Hills women to reach out and invite other ladies in their life. \n  \nMeet our Speaker  \nWendy Walker Ball lives in Morganton\, North Carolina\, where she serves alongside her husband at Walker Road Baptist Church.
