DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, May 7th is the National Day of Prayer. \nThe National Day of Prayer is an annual observance held on the first Thursday of May\, inviting people to pray for the nation. In honor of this\, we want to focus our prayer efforts on praying together for our church\, our community\, our nation\, and our world. \nWe will have a special Prayer Service from 11:00 a.m. – noon followed by a lunch here at the church. \nTo sign up for lunch\, please register below. We want to take a break from Kids Worship to allow families to worship together and for children to learn what it means to worship with their church family. \nIf you as a parent serve during the second service\, a Kid Min chaperone will take your child to service. \nAll preschool and nursery children will remain in their normal classes. SUMMARY:West Virginia Mission Trip
DESCRIPTION:This fall we are joining alongside our mission partner\, Redemption Church for a short-term family mission trip to Beckley\, West Virginia. This trip is geared towards families but open to all. The hope is that children and parents will be able to serve side by side and learn what it means to fulfill The Great Commission together! \nNoah and Cheyanne Toney are two of Lake Hills’ mission partners. They have planted a church in Beckley West Virginia. During this trip we will participate in community outreach to share the Gospel and help bring awareness to the church. \nDETAILS – \nTrip Dates: October 2-5\, 2025\nCost: $150 per person\nAge Requirements: All children must be accompanied by at least one parent. If only one parent is coming\, the child must be at least 3rd grade. If both parents are present\, no age restrictions. \nFinal deadline to register is June15th. There are limited spots and we expect this trip to fill up so don’t wait to register.
