SERVE NC  ABCCM Project: Build bench seating for outdoor classroom Day & Time: Tuesday, August 6th | 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Location: 141 Hillside St. Asheville, NC 28801 Notes: Let us know if you have any construction supplies that would be able to be used for this project. This project is at the Costello House.

SERVE NC  ABCCM Project: Patch and paint walls Day & Time: Thursday, August 8th | 6:00-8:00 p.m. Location: 1914 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler, NC 28715 Notes: This is an indoor project and great for those looking for something with less physical labor. If you have rollers, trays, or any other painting supplies, please let us know.

SERVE NC  ABCCM Project: Pressure washing the property Day & Time: Tuesday, August 6th | 8:00-11:00 a.m. Location: 1914 Smokey Park Hwy, Candler, NC 28715 Notes: Let us know if you have a pressure washer, hoses, or gas that you can bring to this project. We will need several to complete this project.

SERVE NC  Candler Elementary School Project: General Landscaping Day & Time:Tuesday, August 6th | 5:00-7:00 p.m. Location: 121 Candler School Rd, Candler, NC 28715 Notes: This is a family friendly project. We will be mulching and tending to flower beds. Let us know if you have any landscaping tools we can use.

SERVE NC  Enka High School Project: General Landscaping Day & Time: Saturday, August 10th | 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Location: 475 Enka Lake Rd, Candler, NC 28715 Notes: This is a family friendly project. Let us know if you have any landscaping tools we can use.

SERVE NC  Enka Middle School Project: Painting the Stadium Day & Time: Friday, August 9th  |  8:00-11:00 a.m. Location: 390 Asbury Rd, Candler, NC 28715 Notes:After the pressure washing is done, a second team will go in to complete the painting. If you have rollers, trays, or any other painting supplies, please let us know. This is a family friendly project.

SERVE NC  MAPS Project: Culvert clean out Day & Time: Wednesday, August 7th | 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Location: 1710 Old Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806 Notes: If you have your own work gloves, it would be great to bring them. Let us know if you have weed-eaters, lawn bags, hedge clippers, etc. that can be used for this project.

SERVE NC  MAPS Project: General Landscaping Day & Time: Wednesday, August 7th | 8:00-10:00 a.m. Location: 1710 Old Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806 Notes: This project will most likely consist of weeding and similar landscaping so it would be great for someone looking for something with less physical labor. If you have your own work gloves, it would be great to bring them. Let us know if you have weed-eaters, lawn bags, hedge clippers, etc. that can be used for this project.

SERVE NC  MAPS Project: Prepare a meal for the staff and serve them Day & Time: Wednesday, August 7th | 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Location: 1710 Old Haywood Rd, Asheville, NC 28806 Notes: This is a great project for families or those who are not able or interested in the more labor intensive projects.

SERVE NC  Western Carolina Rescue Mission Project:  Paint and serve lunch at Abba’s House Day & Time: Tuesday, August 6th | 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Location: 225 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28802 (Abba’s House) Notes: This will be an indoor project and great for anyone looking for a job with less physical labor. Abba’s House is a special division of the WCRM for pregnant and new moms.

SERVE NC  Western Carolina Rescue Mission Project: Painting walls at the Women’s Center Day & Time: Monday, August 5th | 1:00-4:00 p.m. Location: 225 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28802 Notes:  This will be an indoor project and great for anyone looking for a job with less physical labor.

SERVE NC  Western Carolina Rescue Mission Project: Serve dinner to the residents Day & Time: Wednesday, August 7th | 4:00-6:00 p.m. Location: 225 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28802 Notes: This project is open to anyone. We will prepare and serve dinner at the Rescue Mission.

SERVE NC  Western Carolina Rescue Mission Project: Serve the Women’s Center (Dessert, crafts, games, etc.) Day & Time: Tuesday, August 6th | 5:00-7:00 p.m. Location: 225 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28802 Notes: This project is for women only. This will be an indoor project and great for anyone looking for a job with less physical labor.
