End of Summer Luau & Water Day
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesPlease join us right here at church for a Back to School Luau & Water Day on August 12th from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. This is open to kids ages birth-6th grade. Today we are heartbroken for all of those in our community that have experienced the devastating effects of flooding in the last several hours. Families have lost homes and businesses all across the areas of Candler/Canton/Clyde. While we want to be praying fervently for them, now is our time to BE the church! We need your help! We are coordinating with other local churches to serve the community of Canton and other surrounding areas. We have an opportunity to partner with an amazing organization in Asheville, ABCCM, to help them clean up the damage they are facing at their Veteran's Restoration Quarters. When: This Saturday, August 28th from 9 a.m.-noon Where: Veteran’s Restoration Quarters (a ministry of ABCCM), 1329 Tunnel Road, Asheville, NC 28805. Raising a Modern Day Knight
