Missions Partners

Our Vision Statement says “We are a people united, embracing the work of the Holy Spirit, striving to see lives transformed in our community, region, nation, and world.” Because we are driven by that, Lake Hills Church connects with 13 mission partners from right here in Buncombe Country to the ends of the earth. We love to provide opportunities for our people to not just learn about missions and ministry but to get out there and serve with our missions partners.

Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM) is one of the key non-profit organizations addressing poverty, hunger, homelessness and access to health care for the under-served in Buncombe County.

Danny Wilkins
Fellowship of Christian Athletes, or FCA, is a Christian organization that goes into the local schools to minister to student athletes. They engage with students through team huddles, events and camps. FCA distributes more Bibles than any other group, second to the Gideons. Through their ministry, they work to empower students to go and make disciples themselves.

Kristi Brown
Mountain Area Pregnancy Services, or MAPS provides compassionate care to women and men dealing with issues surrounding an at risk pregnancy. In addition to pregnancy care and education, MAPS offers grief care services for those who have lost a child due to miscarriage, still birth, newborn death, or abortion.

Western Carolina Rescue Mission exists to serve the homeless, poor, and addicted populations of WNC. They meet people in crisis, and focus on helping them at their point of need, invest in their future, and help them until they can move on.

Brittany Jones
YWAM Asheville does work right in the heart of downtown. They offer discipleship training schools, witness and serve those who are caught in trafficking and serve meals to the homeless each week

Carl Toth
One More Child’s mission is to provide Christ-centered services to vulnerable children and struggling families. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to a newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children in crisis, they work to share with children who have been abandoned, neglected or abused the healing love of Jesus.

Courtney Kilby
King’s Cross Ministries is a non-profit organization that partners with an orphanage, school, and church in Haiti to provide children with meals and help lead them to Jesus Christ.

Tom Atema & Will Cunningham
Heart for Lebanon is passionate to reach the lost and broken, to advance peace, justice, and equality and to empower the marginalized and rejected in the country of Lebanon. Driven by the compassionate heart of Jesus Christ, Heart for Lebanon exists to see lives changed and communities transformed.

LoveServes International walks alongside pastors, mentoring and coaching them to develop a healthy church that equips its members to love God and love their neighbor.

Jeff Johnson
The vision of Training Up the Children is to see that the people of North India come to know the one true God through a personal and life changing relationship. They are seeking to win the lost of the nation through providing primary education to children.
