Encounter Teams at LHC

Our Encounter Teams extend the atmosphere of godly worship from your car to the altar. Our goal is to help our members and guests feel the love of the Lord from the moment they pull into the parking lot. We are more than a welcome team. We are the hands, feet and smiles of Jesus and we want everyone who comes to Lake Hills to encounter that. Check out our different opportunities to serve below.

E-TEAM 1

Parking

A guest’s experience at Lake Hills starts outside the building. The Encounter Parking crew doesn’t just direct traffic. They are the first ones who get to show Jesus to our guests.

E-TEAM 2

Guest Encounter

We don’t want to sit back and wait for our guests to reach out to us. We are always prepared and waiting for them. Our Guest Encounter Teams are our on-campus tour guides and first-time guest welcome committee.

E-TEAM 3

Entrance

Every entrance of our campus is manned with our wonderful, welcoming people. They are there to invite guests and members into our church building each week and to answer any questions people may have upon entering our church.

E-TEAM 4

Lobby/Coffee

Church should be a place of restoration for the weary. Lake Hills will always have an intentionally warm and welcoming environment. We encourage anyone to grab a free coffee and sit by the fire in our spacious, lodge-style lobby.

E-TEAM 5

Ushers & Worship

We don’t stop at the Lobby. When anyone enters into our Worship Center along with fellow worshippers, we want them to feel welcomed as they prepare to join us as we worship our King. Our ushers are found all throughout the Worship Center and are able to assist in any way.
