West Virginia Mission Trip
This fall we are joining alongside our mission partner, Redemption Church for a short-term family mission trip to Beckley, West Virginia. This trip is geared towards families but open to all. The hope is that children and parents will be able to serve side by side and learn what it means to fulfill The Great Commission together! Noah and Cheyanne Toney are two of Lake Hills' mission partners. They have planted a church in Beckley West Virginia. Senior Adult Trip to Pretty Place
Lake Hills Senior Adults are headed to Pretty Place, South Carolina for a day trip! Join us Thursday, October 8th, from 8:30am–2:00pm for a special day of fellowship, beautiful mountain views, a time of devotion & prayer, and lunch together. We will meet at the church in the Family Life Center parking lot at 8:30 a.m. to ride together and return after lunch by 2:00 p.m. Our mini bus has seating for the first 15 to request a ride. Child Dedication Sunday

Whether your child is only a few months old or you have just never had the opportunity to participate in something like this, we want to invite you to take this step on Sunday, October 18th. PLACE
PLACE Ministry helps people discover how God has uniquely designed them. It is a Biblical-based assessment tool that helps identify one’s personality and spiritual gifts and helps them understand how and where to best invest the gifts God has given them. Jesus didn't call us just to know the Gospel. He called us to go and make disciples. Every day, we cross paths with people who are carrying burdens, asking questions, and searching for something more. Fifth Sunday Family Worship
No Kids Worship on the 5th Sunday! All kids kindergarten-6th grade will attend the 11:00 a.m. service with their families. We want to take a break from Kids Worship to allow families to worship together and for children to learn what it means to worship with their church family. If you as a parent serve during the second service, a Kid Min chaperone will take your child to service. All preschool and nursery children will remain in their normal classes. All 9:30 Kid LifeGroups will meet as normal.
