One More Child Meal Packing Party
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesWe’re gathering to pack 15,000 (that’s right 15 THOUSAND) meals on Sunday, July 10th following the 11 o'clock service. These meals will feed families at the Rosebud Indian Tribe in South Dakota. One of our mission partners, Carl Toth with One More Child will be providing a Vacation Bible School for children, host an anti-sex-trafficking ministry for families and much more starting July 17th. These meals will go directly to feed these needy families. It’s a huge opportunity to be able to share the gospel with so many families in need. Grill + The Collective
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesThe Grill is back!! Join us on Wednesday, July 13th from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. for a meal, special time of prayer and worship Weather permitting we will meet gather in the grassy area behind the Family Life Center for dinner and move to the Worship Center for a time of prayer and worship. The cost of dinner is $5 per person or $20 family max.
Centrikid Camp
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesJoin us for CentriKid Camp, July 18-22nd at Gardner Webb University. CentriKid is an overnight camp for 2nd–6th graders to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ! This year's theme is Wonder! won·der – noun: a feeling of surprise mingled with admiration, caused by something beautiful, unexpected, unfamiliar, or inexplicable. We serve a God that is infinite, and also personal. Campers will explore the wonder of how big God is, and the wonder of how he cares about us. Cost per child is $329. Back To School Luau and Water Day
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesJoin us for our Back to School Summer Luau and Water Day on Thursday, August 4th. This event is open to all children Birth to 6th grade. We will begin at 11:30 am with a LUAU themed lunch for parents and their children. Plan to enjoy water games/slides in the grassy area behind the church until 3:00 pm. Girls should wear a one piece swimsuit. At least one parent/guardian must attend with children. The rain date is set for Thursday, August 11th. Register below to let us know you are coming. Nerfs + Nachos
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesJoin us on Wednesday August 17th as we kick off our fall TEAM KID Wednesday night activities with a fun night for the whole family. Our “Nerfs and Nachos” night will begin at 6:30 pm with a loaded Nachos Bar and then Nerf Game fun! Children ages 1st-6th grade– please bring your own nerf gun (labeled with your name) and safety goggles if you have them. Lake Hills will provide ALL dart style bullets. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help.
