  • Child Dedication Sunday

    Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United States

    A few times a year we give parents and guardians the opportunity to dedicate their children to the Lord and His Church. Whether your child is only a few months old or you have just never had the opportunity to participate in something like this, we want to invite you to take this step on Sunday, May 10th.   • VBS Volunteer Lunch & Training Huddle

    All VBS Volunteers - please make it a priority to attend this important VBS training! During our time together you will learn new policies and procedures for this year, meet your team and plan out your VBS week. You will also be able to pick up your VBS T-Shirt at the training. If you are able, we are asking for a suggested donation of $10 to help offset the cost. Registration for this event is required!   • Fifth Sunday Family Worship

    No Kids Worship on the 5th Sunday! All kids kindergarten-6th grade will attend the 11:00 a.m. service with their families. We want to take a break from Kids Worship to allow families to worship together and for children to learn what it means to worship with their church family. If you as a parent serve during the second service, a Kid Min chaperone will take your child to service. All preschool and nursery children will remain in their normal classes. All 9:30 Kid LifeGroups will meet as normal.

  • Vacation Bible School 2026

    Vacation Bible School 2026 is June 15-18!!  Join us for ILLUMINATION STATION and shine a light on who Jesus is! Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world! Like the disciples, kids will be challenged to answer Jesus’ question, “Who do you say that I am?” They will discover it’s not a matter of opinion.   • Kids Camp 2026

    We are so excited for Kids Camp 2026!! While we have loved our experience with CentriKid the past several years, we have made the decision to try something new this year and we believe it will be a welcome change that our kids will love. This year we are headed to a fun and adventurous outdoor camp at Look Up Lodge in Travelers Rest, SC. It will be a week full of spiritual growth with worship, teaching and personal discipleship.   • West Virginia Mission Trip

    This fall we are joining alongside our mission partner, Redemption Church for a short-term family mission trip to Beckley, West Virginia. This trip is geared towards families but open to all. The hope is that children and parents will be able to serve side by side and learn what it means to fulfill The Great Commission together! Noah and Cheyanne Toney are two of Lake Hills' mission partners. They have planted a church in Beckley West Virginia.
