Family Scavenger Hunt

It will be a night of family fun and some healthy competition! Here's how the night will go: 6:00 p.m.- Meet at the Family Life Center to pick up your Scavenger Hunt List. 6:10 p.m.- Take off in your Family Vehicle and check off as much as possible in the Candler area from your list. 7:00 p.m. - Return to the Family Life Center for a yummy Pancake/Waffle Bar where we will share funny stories and results of the Scavenger Hunt. Dominican Republic Mission Trip
We are excited to join one of our mission partners, Love Serves, for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. We will be ministering to the people of Mira Cielo and partnering with Pastor Edward and his congregation. Our mission partner, LoveServes International, walks alongside pastors, mentoring and coaching them to develop a healthy church that equips its members to love God and love their neighbor. Kids Camp 2026
We are so excited for Kids Camp 2026!! While we have loved our experience with CentriKid the past several years, we have made the decision to try something new this year and we believe it will be a welcome change that our kids will love. This year we are headed to a fun and adventurous outdoor camp at Look Up Lodge in Travelers Rest, SC. It will be a week full of spiritual growth with worship, teaching and personal discipleship. Serve NC – Local Missions
ServeNC is an opportunity for us to join together as a church to love on and serve our community. We are working closely with Baptist on Mission and a few of our local mission partners to organize a few different service opportunities throughout the area during the week of August 10-15. 2026 Fall Kickoff Week
Lake Hills Church 370 Lake Drive, Candler, NC, United StatesWe are so excited to kick off the 2026 fall season starting August 23rd. SUNDAY Sunday, August 23rd will officially start the new semester. We will start with Move Up Sunday in our Next Gen Ministries during Sunday morning LifeGroups. College Ministry will jump back into their regular weekly programing Sunday night. WEDNESDAY Join us for dinner, prayer and worship. In addition to this service, Kid's and Students will be kicking off a new school year with something for all ages! Fifth Sunday Family Worship
No Kids Worship on the 5th Sunday! All kids kindergarten-6th grade will attend the 11:00 a.m. service with their families. We want to take a break from Kids Worship to allow families to worship together and for children to learn what it means to worship with their church family. If you as a parent serve during the second service, a Kid Min chaperone will take your child to service. All preschool and nursery children will remain in their normal classes. All 9:30 Kid LifeGroups will meet as normal.

Lake Hills Family Night and Outdoor Baptism

West Virginia Mission Trip
This fall we are joining alongside our mission partner, Redemption Church for a short-term family mission trip to Beckley, West Virginia. This trip is geared towards families but open to all. The hope is that children and parents will be able to serve side by side and learn what it means to fulfill The Great Commission together! Noah and Cheyanne Toney are two of Lake Hills' mission partners. They have planted a church in Beckley West Virginia.
