This fall we are joining alongside our mission partner, Redemption Church for a short-term family mission trip to Beckley, West Virginia. This trip is geared towards families but open to all. The hope is that children and parents will be able to serve side by side and learn what it means to fulfill The Great Commission together! Noah and Cheyanne Toney are two of Lake Hills' mission partners. They have planted a church in Beckley West Virginia. Lake Hills Senior Adults are headed to Pretty Place, South Carolina for a day trip! Join us Thursday, October 8th, from 8:30am–2:00pm for a special day of fellowship, beautiful mountain views, a time of devotion & prayer, and lunch together. We will meet at the church in the Family Life Center parking lot at 8:30 a.m. to ride together and return after lunch by 2:00 p.m. Our mini bus has seating for the first 15 to request a ride. PLACE Ministry helps people discover how God has uniquely designed them. It is a Biblical-based assessment tool that helps identify one’s personality and spiritual gifts and helps them understand how and where to best invest the gifts God has given them.
