Join Lake Hills Church as we come together to support families in our community this holiday season. Every year when children go home for Christmas break, the meals that they count on getting during school hours have to come from somewhere else. For many families, finding the means to supply these extra meals for their children is a challenge, and they often go without. We are working closely with social workers at Candler Middle School, Candler Intermediate, Pisgah Elementary, Hominy Valley Elementary, Candler Elementary, and Sand Hill Elementary to identify 100 families most in need this holiday season. In addition to these families provided by the school system, we are extending our reach this year to include 100 more families in our community who have been deeply affected by the hurricane.

How to get involved

Since we are now trying to reach 200+ families, this year we will be collecting Ingles Gift Cards and monetary donations to be able to buy in bulk rather than accepting individual food items. You can bring your donation to the church office at any point during the week or the church lobby on Sundays until December 2nd.

On December 7th we will be hosting a Community Christmas Store where these families can come and shop for Christmas gifts for their children and receive a Blessing Food Box at no cost to them.
