All fifth and sixth graders are invited to going us for a fun night at the baseball field for an Asheville Tourists game on Wednesday July 26th. We will meet at the church and ride together on the bus, leaving at 4:45 p.m. We will stop for dinner at Chick-fil-a. We will return to the church at 9:00 p.m. for pick up. Parents are welcome to attend as well if they would like. Join us every Thursday (weather permitting) from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Lake Hills Playground for Popsicles in the Park. This is a fun opportunity for kids of all ages to play and have fun, and for moms to connect with other moms in the church and community. No registration required. Join us for a fun afternoon luau to celebrate the end of summer and going back to school on Thursday, August 3rd from 12:00 -3:00 p.m. at the Lake Hills playground. We are excited to offer several different types of discipleship classes this fall. Parenting is a 4 week class that will begin Wednesday, October 25th. Walk alongside other in the same boat as you for four Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. each week. Join Rachel and Jeff Henry as they lead the class and we learn together about how to be an intentional parent. This class is specifically for parents of kids ages preschool through high school. It's been several months since we began our multigenerational "Pray for Me Campaign." We have heard many encouraging stories from participant families and their prayer champions as well. In order to continue the powerful work that this campaign has had, we are hosting a meet and greet lunch on Sunday November 5th at 12:30 in the Family Life Center for all participating families and their prayer champion.
