PLACE
PLACE Ministry helps people discover how God has uniquely designed them. It is a Biblical-based assessment tool that helps identify one’s personality and spiritual gifts and helps them understand how and where to best invest the gifts God has given them. Vacation Bible School 2026 is June 15-18!! Join us for ILLUMINATION STATION and shine a light on who Jesus is! Kids will explore all the ways light brightens, illuminates, reflects, and reveals while discovering that Jesus is the light who brings hope to a dark world! Get HYPEEE for Student Camp 2026!! We are headed back to Journey Camp. Journey Camp at Toccoa Falls is a week that our students will not forget. A week of fun, spiritual growth, fellowship, and so much more. Dominican Republic Mission Trip
We are excited to join one of our mission partners, Love Serves, for a mission trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. We will be ministering to the people of Mira Cielo and partnering with Pastor Edward and his congregation. Our mission partner, LoveServes International, walks alongside pastors, mentoring and coaching them to develop a healthy church that equips its members to love God and love their neighbor. Serve NC – Local Missions
ServeNC is an opportunity for us to join together as a church to love on and serve our community. We are working closely with Baptist on Mission and a few of our local mission partners to organize a few different service opportunities throughout the area during the week of August 10-15. West Virginia Mission Trip
This fall we are joining alongside our mission partner, Redemption Church for a short-term family mission trip to Beckley, West Virginia. This trip is geared towards families but open to all. The hope is that children and parents will be able to serve side by side and learn what it means to fulfill The Great Commission together! Noah and Cheyanne Toney are two of Lake Hills' mission partners. They have planted a church in Beckley West Virginia.
